Carpentry

Carpenters hold a respectful position in modern construction and management of work that involves shaping, cutting and installing timber or steel for buildings or smaller structures. They create, and install parts of structures for home additions, or build all structures outright for entirely new buildings. As a good carpenter, he/she should know how to handle both indoor and outdoor building works using an assortment of tools and prepare timber and steel components for construction of roof, wall, floors, cladding and other framed structures. They also work on internal construction finishing such as: fitting skirting board, doors and hardware, architraves and other interior household items. Carpenters may also perform work that involves preparing shuttering, stairs and installing window frames. All of this varied work requires several skills and attention to quality finishing.
